    We're adding a new 'Signature' picklist field to the annuity financial account wizard under the Funding section. This will empower you to effectively report and track how transfer forms are signed. Choose from options like E-Signature, Physical Signature, or None.

  2. Brand New NIGO Details Object
    Introducing a dedicated NIGO Details tab for AEWM New Business and Service cases. This tab includes a comprehensive data grid for easy reference to case numbers, NIGO documents, reasons, statuses, and more.

  3. Case Owner Field Retention
    No more ownership confusion when cases close! With our new update, the case owner field will remain assigned to you — even when cases transition to “Closed.”

  • Accessing the Signature Picklist: Within your annuity financial account wizard, under the Funding tab, you’ll find the new 'Signature' picklist right between the 'Amount' and 'Replacement?' fields.

  • Exploring the NIGO Details Tab: When you open AEWM New Business or Service cases, the NIGO Details tab will be nestled comfortably between Notes and Open Activities. Use it to sort and view all your NIGO documents efficiently.

  • Retaining Case Ownership: With the new setup, simply close your cases without worrying about changes in ownership – it stays with you!

    • Renaming Changes: 'Quality Approver' is now 'Quality Reviewer', and 'Quality Approved Date/Time' becomes 'Quality Review Date/Time'. These fields will auto-update with relevant user interactions, streamlining the review process.

AEC has updates to One-Page Strategic Plans, Advisor Profile, and Compliance Cases

Here’s what you can expect:

One-Page Strategic Plan

  • The Preferred Business Name will now display on one-page strategic plans rather than the full legal name of an individual Advisor to better represent the partnership, improve branding consistency, and enhance ease of use for Advisors.

Advisor Record

  • Added a YouTube field to Advisor profiles.

Carrier Contract

  • Added a ‘Quality Approver' and 'Quality Approved Date/Time' fields on Compliance Cases. The new fields support WORM-compliant recordkeeping and reduce reliance on notes and tracking outside AEC.

  • Removed the option to edit or delete Compliance Case notes. Disabling this option supports WORM-compliant recordkeeping and reduces reliance on notes and tracking outside AEC.

AEC has updates to L&C Onboarding and Carrier Contract

Here’s what you can expect: 

L&C Onboarding

  • Added ‘Incomplete’ as Closed Statuses to differentiate closed statuses more easily.

  • Added the ‘Annuity VP Team’ email to the current workflow to notify when the Line of Business field has ‘Annuity’ selected on entry and the case is submitted.

Carrier Contract

  • Added ‘Contract Change' to Carrier Contracts picklist fields: Annuity Status, Life Status, and Medicare Status.
